Dr. Basila is a highly experienced Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon currently working at KMC Hospital, Mangalore. With over six years of expertise in general surgery and breast oncoplastic procedures, she is widely regarded as one of the leading specialists in the region.
Her training at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai has equipped her with advanced techniques that prioritize not just survival, but quality of life. During her fellowship, she independently performed over 150 mastectomies, breast conservation surgeries, and oncoplastic procedures, along with approximately 250 hook and wire localisation biopsies, sono-localised excision biopsies, and axillary lymph node biopsies.
